هذا الموقع مكرس لمناقشة قضايا الإصلاح الفكري والعلمي والمنهجي للعلوم الاجتماعية في العالم الإسلامي، هدفه الأساسي إيجاد التكامل بين أفضل وأصح ما توصلت إليه تلك العلوم الحديثة وبين بصائر الكتاب والسنة وإسهامات علماء المسلمين فيما يتعلق بالسلوك الإنساني وسنن التجمع البشري -- على أن يتم ذلك وفق طريقة منهجية محكمة

I believe, with Pitrim Sorokin (the World’s Greatest Sociologist according to Prof. Zimmerman) , that the “traditional” positivist/empiricist perspectives adopted by the social sciences for long have created havoc -not only for science itself - but for modern human societies in general. Look everywhere around you and see for yourself !  It is time to seriously consider THE Real Alternative… i.e. Sorokin’s "Integral Theory of Truth and Reality" which combines the truths of “Faith” (Super-Rational , Super Empirical) with those of “Reason” (Rational) along with those of the “Senses” (Empirico-Sensory).

But, starting from what we currently have in social science today, how can we systematically carry out  the precious integration of these three sources of TRUTH  is -of course- at the core of the whole project. This Site is dedicated to just that..., an  attempt to explore and outline the methodological issues of building that  long overdue New Paradigm of the Social Sciences.
